Arbill Industries, a mid-size PPE Distributor, is looking for a BI & Data Solutions Analyst to join our dynamic team! If you are passionate about turning data into actionable insights and creating impactful solutions, we’d love to hear from you!
The BI & Data Solutions Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving the organization’s data infrastructure, including SQL databases, reporting tools, and ETL processes. Leads the transition to modern business intelligence solutions to enhance data accessibility, automation, and decision-making. Works cross-functionally to develop reports, dashboards, and data workflows that streamline operations and improve efficiency.
Duties include:
· Maintain and enhance existing SQL-based data warehouse, QlikView reports, and Excel refreshables.
· Lead the modernization of reporting and analytics to improve data accessibility and insights.
· Develop dashboards, reports, and automation to support business users and leadership.
· Optimize ETL processes and data models to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
· Troubleshoot data quality issues and performance bottlenecks in reporting solutions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
· Document workflows, data models, and reporting logic for technical and business users.
· Stay current with modern BI tools, automation techniques including leveraging AI, and data management best practices.
Requirements
· 2 years of experience in data development, analytics, or business intelligence.
· Strong SQL skills (preferably MS SQL Server or Azure).
· Experience with a BI tool (QlikView, Power BI, Qlik Sense, or equivalent).
· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (Kimball methodology, star/snowflake schema).
· Experience with ETL processes and data automation.
· Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and identify solutions beyond predefined tasks.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical users.
· Experience with ERP/CRM systems (Epicor Prophet21, Dynamics CRM is a plus).
· Ability to design and optimize relational data models into star/snowflake schemas for performance and scalability.
