What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at ARBOC?
What You Will DO:
•Responsible for identifying quality and process gaps and non-conformance issues on the bus.
•Must be able to read blueprints and use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.
•Good interpersonal, communication, problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work effectively in ateam environment.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet workload demands
•Clear understanding of the bill of materials as it relates to production completion.
•Ability to perform required duties with minimal supervision.
•Available to work overtime as required.
•Understand the Production Quality system and follow documented processes and procedures.
•Other duties as assigned
•HS Diploma or equivalent
•Experience with general assembly of a bus, truck and/or automobile.
•Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
•Computer and organizational skills
•Experience in the Bus Manufacturing would be ideal.
•Previous experience with 5S and lean manufacturing would be considered an asset.
•This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. Must be able to lift and/or move items over 25 pounds
