What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Inspector position at Arbonne?
Are you an experienced Sr. Quality Assurance Inspector seeking a challenging role in a dynamic environment? At Arbonne, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP standards, and company SOPs. Your expertise in Acceptable Quality Limits (AQL) inspections will be critical in maintaining high-quality standards across raw materials, components, and finished goods.
What You’ll Be Doing:
AQL Inspections & Compliance:
- Perform AQL inspections on incoming components, raw materials, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Verify that incoming packaging components match the provided artwork and technical drawings.
- Aseptically sample incoming raw materials and submit them to designated laboratories for testing.
- Confirm finished goods meet Finished Good Specifications before release.
Quality Assurance & Documentation:
- Place non-conforming packaging components, raw materials, or finished goods into quarantine with proper labeling.
- Report quality issues to management and participate in investigations and root cause analysis.
Investigations & Continuous Improvement:
- Assist in investigations related to quality concerns, FDA holds, and product recalls.
- Participate in Quality System audits as directed by Quality Management.
- Support GMP training for employees to enhance compliance awareness.
- Conduct daily housekeeping audits of production areas and report findings to Operations and Quality management.
- Review Master Packaging Assembly Records (MPARs) and perform random checks to ensure process adherence and compliance.
- Assist in pulling retains and samples for internal testing and customer requests.
Health, Safety & Corporate Social Responsibility:
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations in all operations.
- Actively contribute to corporate social responsibility initiatives, supporting sustainability and environmental impact goals.
- Each employee is responsible for setting a goal relative to social and environmental impact as part of the company’s mission.
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in quality auditing/inspection within a cGMP environment—preferably in pharmaceuticals, biomedical, or medical device industries.
- Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
