JOB DESCRIPTION
Arbor Crest is looking for Tasting Room Associates to provide memorable moments for all guests while creating an energetic, positive team environment. We are seeking individuals who can work respectfully with others while building long lasting relationships with our members and guests. The desired employee will be able to adapt and perform in all situations, maintain communication among team members, and commit to make each guest interaction extraordinary.
JOB DUTIES, EXPECTATIONS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Product sales, including but not limited to: meeting team sales goals, promoting and selling wine club memberships, and offering other products and/or services to enhance the guest experience
- Assist front of house and back of house staff as needed
- Maintain professionalism and positivity
- Expand wine knowledge and participate in monthly staff trainings
- Develop sales skills through education and training
- Understand and practice responsible hospitality
- Communicate and provide support to all team members
- Follow procedures and comply with company, state, and federal policies
- Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests
- Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time as well as work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Operate POS systems, ring in sales, and handle cash quickly and accurately
- Precisely document inventory transactions
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
REQUIREMENTS:
- All applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Washington State Liquor Control Board Class 12 MAST Permit - must be obtained within 14 days of hire
- Washington State Food Workers Permit - must be obtained within 14 days of hire
SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION:
- Tasting room positions are seasonal through October with a minimum availability of 10 hours per week
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability are required
- $16.66 per hour plus tips and commission on wine club sign-ups
