Pay Range : $18.00 - $19.00 / Hour DOE

- This position requires 2 days of Inspection responsibility & 3 days in other roles within the Housekeeping Department.
- This position reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper (Housekeeping Supervisor) & works as their partner to lead the Department.
- Weekends & Holiday availability is required.
Summary :
The Housekeeping Inspector is responsible for inspecting the cleaning of guest rooms to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities :
Walk all assigned spaces at the beginning and end of each shiftRemove newspapers, service trays, empty ash receptacles, trash and / or linens, and note any areas that require immediate cleaningClean hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc.Perform quality checks on public spaces, televisions, telephones, and lampsRemove soiled linens, towels, and trash and place them in the appropriate locations in the prescribed mannerAssist housekeepers with portable refrigerators, roll-away beds, cribs, etc. as neededDemonstrate proper use of cleaning equipment and suppliesRespond to and resolve housekeeping requests and complaints by guestsMaintain consistently professional and positive attitudePerform special projects and other responsibilities as assignedParticipate in task forces and committees as requestedUnderstand and provide friendly guest serviceUnderstand and comply with proper cleaning techniques, procedures, and brand standardsOperate a vacuum, mop, and properly use cleaning equipment and suppliesComplete assigned tasks, identify and investigate issues, and resolve basic matters in a timely fashionAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, while remaining flexible and efficientAdditional tasks may be assigned at any given time.Requirements
Qualifications :
Minimum 2 Years of Housekeeping ExperienceAttention to detail and efficient time management skillsEffective listening and communication skillsPhysical capability requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs.Benefits :
