Job Title: Right-of-Way Bush Hog/Tractor Operators who will be responsible for operating a heavy-duty tractor w/ bush hog to mow vegetation and brush.
Location: Southeast USA, including TN, GA, and VA; requiring travel and extended stays out of town.
Job Responsibilities:
· Operate HD Tractor w/ bush-hog on various terrains performing mowing of vegetation on Right of Way (R.O.W.)
· Specialized skills needed to operate and perform general maintenance on equipment including tractor, bush-hog, chainsaw, and other various tools in a safe and responsible manner.
· Uses chainsaw and/or pole-saw to cut tree debris or logs & brush fallen in ROW.
· Moves similar debris to staging areas for appropriate removal.
· Performs daily inspections of company equipment and gear as assigned.
· Learns, understands, and adheres to all safety rules and company safety policies.
· Participates in all job site safety briefings.
· Utilizes all appropriate personal protective equipment. SAFETY FIRST!!
· Communicates clearly and appropriately with groundcrew in support of specific project assignment, as directed by crew leader or designated supervisor.
· Understands and demonstrates proficiency in all aspects of the equipment operator position.
Demonstrates and practices proper equipment usage.
· Demonstrates and practices proper chainsaw use and small removal skills.
· Maintains assigned company gear according to the issued equipment policy.
· Must be able to work independently with a willingness to perform other tasks as needed when not performing Tractor Operator tasks.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to travel out of town weekly, year-round.
· Must be able to lift 75 pounds.
· Must be able to safely operate equipment.
· Must be able to traverse uneven terrain.
· Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.
· Valid driver's license preferred or reliable transportation to and from work.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
· MUST be drug free and pass all drug and alcohol screens as required by company policy.

Preferred:
· Two (2) years tractor operator experience as Right-of-Way operator.
