We are currently seeking an SLP to join our Home Health Team and provide skilled intervention to clients in home and community settings throughout the greater Phoenix area. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply! This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, allowing you to work as many or as few hours as you wish, on a schedule that works for you.
Role Overview :
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans to address areas of need using evidenced-based approaches and individualized therapeutic strategies
- Closely monitor and document progress, adjusting intervention as necessary to support optimal outcomes
- Engage parents and caregivers in the therapeutic process, providing education and resources to support the client's progress and development
- Collaborate with a team of professionals, including occupational and physical therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
- Complete succinct documentation of services in a timely manner
- Provide high-quality mentorship and supervision of students and assistants, as needed
Requirements :
Working Conditions :
This position requires intermittent standing, lifting, kneeling, and sitting. In addition, this position may include working closely with clients who have mental, physical, and / or behavioral diagnoses and may be verbally or physically combative.
