Behavioral Health Technician (Arbor Wellness)
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) you will be the first point of contact to the clients in our care. You will frequently help clients navigate through complicated dynamics as they progress through the treatment program. You will continually observe and report patient behavior and foster a safe and supportive environment for the patients under our care. This is fundamental to their recovery as you will directly impact the cushion of recovery by being in frequent and direct contact with them on a daily basis. No member of the Arbor Wellness team will have more direct interaction and impact than our BHTs. It is also important to note that the patients at Arbor Wellness are all here under a voluntary basis, so you will find the dynamic uniquely different to other mental health recovery facilities. This position will hire with a strong emphasis on effective communication skills, which are the pinnacle skill set needed to effectively meet client care needs. This cannot be overstated. All candidates should expect a strong emphasis on how you conduct yourself socially, with special attention to diversity with your person background and being able to relate that in a clinical recovery setting.
