```Job Summary```
We seek a dedicated and experienced teacher and tutor / academic coach to join our team. As an Arboro Empowered, you will play a crucial role in shaping the minds of young children and preparing them for their educational journey. If you enjoy actively engaging with and empowering students and have a background in education, we encourage you to apply. We are committed to providing children with developmentally appropriate, student-centered learning opportunities. Our teachers incorporate engaging, hands-on opportunities for skill development into every session.
Specific Roles Include:
- Phonics and word work lessons
-Various levels of math instruction
-Art, Music, Physical Education, STEAM, Chess, Drama, and Spanish educators (and similar skill-focused educators)
- Specialized skills- Special Education, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Psychology, Physical Therapy, Recreational Therapy, etc.
```Responsibilities```
- Create and implement lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, and emotional development of children
- Foster a safe, encouraging, and nurturing learning environment for all students
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges
- Collaborate professionally with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Utilize various teaching methods and resources to engage students in active learning
- Maintain classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior
