Responsibilities
- Perform pruning and trimming of trees, shrubs, and plants to promote healthy growth and enhance appearance.
- Operate bucket trucks and other rigging equipment safely to access high branches.
- Conduct tree care activities including inspections for disease or damage.
- Utilize GIS technology to map and manage landscape features effectively.
- Assist in general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement effective pruning strategies.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Proven experience in tree trimming, landscape maintenance, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with bucket operation and rigging techniques is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of horticultural practices related to tree care and garden maintenance.
- Experience using GIS technology for landscape management is a plus.
- A strong understanding of plant biology and growing conditions is beneficial.
