Summary : Assist in all duties of the
Respiratory Department by performing the following duties. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned) 1. Cleans and disinfects equipment used
in administration of respiratory therapy. 2. Examine equipment to detect worn
parts, loose connections or other indications of disrepair and notifies
supervisor of need for maintenance. 3. Set up and have knowledgeable use of
all pieces of equipment located and used within the department. 4. Stocks oxygen tanks as well as other
equipment and supplies to specified hospital locations. 5. Administers aerosol therapy as
described by Physician. Supervisory Responsibilities:

and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense;
understanding to carry out detailed but unindicted written or oral

patients tracking; documentation; ability to use computers for administering
medications. Certificates, Licenses
and Registrations: 1.
Must hold a license with Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and
Supervision. 2.
Must attend 12 hours every two years of continuing education classes. 3.
Must have taken course approved by the National Board for Respiratory
Care (NBRC), or grandfathered in the Respiratory Board. 4.
Must hold and keep current CPR license. 5.
Recommended ACLS license. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here
