What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Crew Member position at Arbutus Park Retirement Community?
Arbutus Park Retirement Community is looking for a Groundskeeper to maintain natural environments and landscaping including lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, driveways and sidewalks. Work is primarily performed outside.
Skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of various types of foliage, flowers, trees, shrubs and other greenery, and how to maintain them
- Knowledge of gardening products such as fertilizers and pesticides
- Familiarity with sprinkler systems and other landscaping equipment
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- A valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
