Responsibilities
- Assist in performing routine maintenance and repairs on various types of vehicles.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely, including hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Help diagnose mechanical issues by observing experienced mechanics and learning to use diagnostic tools such as an Ohmmeter.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on vehicles.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repairs and maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive repair or a related field is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components is beneficial.
- Familiarity with using hand tools and diagnostic equipment, including an Ohmmeter, is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
