About the Role: Respite Care Program Manager
- Lead a dedicated and talented team of people who provide excellent care to children/ young adults ages 3 to 22 who have special needs.
- Plan fun and exciting activities for the children while their parents or caregivers can take a much-needed break with the confidence that their children are safe and receiving the best care by trained professionals.
- Utilize your expertise to link families to needed resources that help the children and families succeed.
- Coordinates and oversees the schedule and delivery of respite care services.
- Coordinates personnel management, including making hiring recommendations and supporting ongoing team professional development.
- Facilitates a culture of positive teamwork, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Leads the team to help incredible children and young adults have an amazing time while their parents take a much-needed break!
- Helps Direct Support Professionals achieve success in their important work with the children.
- Facilitates care planning and case management with children and families to help them receive needed services that support well-being and healthy functioning of families.
- Continually evaluates and enhances the program design for ongoing improvement and success.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related
- Must complete Professional Crisis Management Training (provided).
- Must have experience providing direct support to children with developmental disabilities for at least one year.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years of related experience providing team supervision/ management with children who have Developmental Disabilities and significant behavior challenges.
- Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
