What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping/Receiving Coordinator position at ARC Drilling?
We are seeking a Full Time Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to oversee shipping/receiving department. Scheduled hours would be 8 am - 4 pm, Monday through Friday. We are looking for an individual who is reliable, dependable, efficient, and comfortable being a part of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex detail for customer paperwork is essential to this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, organized, a self-starter, a professional, and a good problem solver. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.
The Responsibilities of this position are:
Recording Shipments - Must be proficient in MS Office applications. Maintaining information in E2 computer system. Maintain up to date records of customer shipments and received items. Scanning and filing traveler packet information
Handling Inbound and Outbound paperwork - Properly labeling all shipping and receiving packages, noting any special instructions, and packing slips.
Receiving inbound deliveries - Responsible for physically receiving and unpacking all inbound deliveries. Producing paperwork and delivering to the production floor.
Packaging - Must package according to customer specifications before sending out a completed job.
Arranging Pick-Up and Drop off - The shipping/Receiving Coordinator will oversee handling third-party services such as Fed Ex, UPS, and Contract Hauler for either delivery or pick-up. The coordinator is also responsible for deliveries and pick-up in the company vehicle.
Customer Service - Work well with customers to be able to provide answers and ensure satisfaction with their products. Be able to work well with the production scheduler and accounting office regarding Shipments, Invoicing, and Receiving paperwork within E2.
Incoming and Outgoing Inspection – Verify received paperwork against system designations. Visual inspection for incoming defects and any outgoing defects.
Growth in this role is dependent on taking on additional responsibilities once basic knowledge is acquired. This person will work closely with the quality manager to make sure that all records meet AS9100 and NADCAP requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication Skills
- Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner.
- CDL Not Required
- Forklift license preferred (NOT REQUIRED)
