Position Overview:
Arc Environmental has new to due growth Field Technician opportunities with sign on bonuses! Our Environmental Field Technicians and Practitioners are proficient conducting indoor air quality investigations, asbestos and mold sampling, as well as conducting hazardous materials assessments. These new teammates will be a part of our long standing, best in class, in house Industrial Hygiene team as we are growing and scaling!

Maryland law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is 60,000 - $80,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, book of business, and abilities. The salary range for this role is intentionally wide as we are evaluating individuals based on their unique experience and abilities to meet our growth objectives. Role Description:
- Conduct indoor air quality studies in response to client partner complaints, including moisture infiltration, and mold concerns.
- Conduct IH field studies related to worker exposures, including, but not limited to, air and noise sampling, asbestos removal, asbestos surveys, and other studies.
- Complete data sheets, chain of custody forms, and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.
- Prepare concise reports summarizing findings, interpreting IH data, regulatory requirements and recommendations. Reports must be technically accurate, grammatically correct, and appropriate for intended audience.
- Peer review reports for accuracy.
- Operate and maintain instruments including sampling pumps, calibrators, noise dosimeters, and direct reading gas meters.
- Research safety and health standards and guidelines and IH sampling methods.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork including T&E expense reports, field reports, etc. are submitted on a timely basis.
- Develop technical/field relationships with clients to better understand needs, convey confidence, and create a plan of completed field work.
- Participate in quality control/quality assurance programs for NIOSH 582.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or industrial hygiene, or associated field.
- 3 - 5 years' experience that includes indoor air quality investigations, asbestos surveying, supervision, abatement, and or removal.
- Licensed asbestos supervisor, asbestos Inspector, or other. Licensed mold or IAQ Monitor/Inspector.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
