Summary:
Responsible for providing oversight, supervision, and coordination of clinical services for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities participating in Adult Services programs. Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and recipient satisfaction with services, and for upholding the mission and goals of Arc GLOW.

Summary:
Responsible for providing oversight, supervision, and coordination of clinical services for people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities participating in Adult Services programs. Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and recipient satisfaction with services, and for upholding the mission and goals of Arc GLOW.
Essential Functions:
- Provides direct supervision of clinicians and clerical support staff.
- Responsible for interviewing, orienting, training, and evaluating direct reports.
- Monitors and ensures licenses of clinicians are current. Ensures each clinician obtains the number of Continuing Education Units as required by each specific license.
- Helps develop, manage, and work within the constraints of the department budgets.
- Ensures that the Clinical Service Plan and recommendations for each individual are included with the pertinent waiver service plan and communicated to the team and the service recipient.
- Ensures Clinical Services Plans or treatment plans are established, monitored, and forwarded to the appropriate programs.
- Ensures monthly summaries and other clinical notes are completed and forwarded to appropriate programs.
- Ensures services are scheduled as recommended. As necessary, documents and communicates interruptions to service provision.
- Conducts monthly staff meetings and individual sessions with clinicians as needed.
- Communicates important information gleaned from directors and mid-management meetings to staff.
- Helps prioritize cases with clinicians so that the most acute or substantial needs are met first.
- Ensures continuity of clinical services amongst programs.
- Fosters a team approach so that individuals are receiving holistic care.
- Participate in corporate compliance and quality assurance activities as required
- Monitors productivity of clinicians and produces regular reports.
- Oversees and approves requests for supplies and equipment, conferences, trainings, and in-services.
- Oversees annual review of Clinical Services policies and procedures.
- Adheres to Agency Code of Conduct and policies and procedures.
- Maintains confidentiality of individual records.
- Liaisons with family members, outside agencies, doctors, etc. for comprehensive care of individuals.
- Collaborates with Arc Wayne Article 16 Clinic.
- Contracts with clinicians external to the agency to ensure clinical needs of individuals are met (i.e. physical therapy, psychology services, etc.).
- Oversees RN Supervisors to implement up to date policies and procedures clinically in the residential settings to provide continuity of excellent clinical care.
- Provides on-call support to ensure clinical needs of individuals are met during non-business hours.
- Attend team meetings as needed.
- Other related duties as assigned
- Maintain awareness of best practices and new development in the field.
- Communicate with community service organizations.
- Provide positive leadership role model.

- Ability to implement changes in a positive manner and to adjust to ideas, technologies and activities.
- Able to work with a variety of people with different background and abilities to deliver high quality services to those served.
- Requires basic computer skills.
- Requires strong listening, communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Ability to sit, stand and stoop.
- May be required to walk up and down stairs
- Master’s Degree in a clinical field of study or RN required.
- At least four years supervisory experience preferred.
- Minimum three years of experience in providing clinical services to individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.
- Valid New York State driver’s license with safe driving record per agency policy; use of personal vehicle required.
- Some work in a typical office environment.
- Frequent travel to other off-site locations.
- Will occasionally require evening and weekend work
