Financial Analyst III
Location : Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Duration : 6 months (potential for extension or full-time conversion)
ARC Group is seeking a Financial Analyst III for a contract opportunity with a direct client, a leader in the supply chain and shipping industry . This position is onsite in Jacksonville, FL , and offers the potential to extend or convert to a full-time role .
Please note : This role is not open to C2C (third-party / bench recruiters). Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future.
Position Overview :
The Financial Analyst III will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis , providing strategic insights to support critical business decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams .
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze financial data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with business strategies.
- Prepare and present financial reports, variance analysis, and key insights to leadership.
- Enhance financial processes, reporting capabilities, and systems for improved efficiency.
- Evaluate potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions to support strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and develop FP&A team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Respond to and resolve complex financial inquiries, ensuring credible analysis and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills :
Education : Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
Experience : 5 years in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Technical Skills :
Preferred : Experience with XCM and Oracle , particularly in FP&A.
