Supply Chain Operations Specialist
Weston, Florida
ARC Group is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Specialist for an exciting opportunity in Weston, Florida. This long-term contract position with a Fortune 500 company offers the potential to transition to a permanent role. The Specialist will play a key role in supporting internal Supply Chain departments by managing inquiries and providing strategic direction for warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, and documentation processes.
Please note : This position is open to candidates authorized to work on a W2 basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries from Fleet and Supply Chain departments by resolving issues such as receiving discrepancies, unknown (quarantine) shipments, shipping / loading details, documentation concerns, and disputed invoices.
- Train and supervise an outsourced team responsible for daily customer service tasks, ensuring effective performance and adherence to company standards.
- Provide guidance to suppliers, warehouses, and internal Supply Chain departments regarding documentation, DOT regulations, and state / local requirements. Coordinate with the transportation department on steamship bookings, loadings, filing IMOs, and ensuring timely shipment handling in alignment with the Master Load Schedule (MLS).
- Perform assigned audit steps to resolve invoices in dispute (IIDs) and maintain compliance with audit procedures.
- Generate and oversee the production of operational metric reports and service issue summaries for Senior Management.
- Address warehouse and supplier non-conformances in collaboration with Procurement Buyers and Commodity Managers, ensuring timely resolution.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed. This description reflects the primary duties of the role but is not an exhaustive list. Employees may be assigned other job-related tasks by their supervisor or management.
