PART TIME POSITION
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Works directly with the consumers; Maintain good communication with individuals and agencies involved with the consumers; Be creative when implementing services to the consumers; Report any changes to the case manager as soon as they occur; implement individual training and support programs for the consumers; Maintain good documentation and complete all reports in a timely manner.
WORK SCHEDULE: The coach follow the schedule prepared by the program manager. This position may be full time or part time, depending on the need of the consumers and the agency. All holidays and overtime must be approved by the program manager prior to any time worked
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
He/She must successfully pass an initial drug test screening and may be subjected to random screening. A background check through the Department of Justice will be conducted prior to employment, record should be clear of any criminal activity.
Promote a better, more cooperative working atmosphere by maintains a safe, hazard free work environment, adhering to call OSHA and ADA requirements. Shall maintain as harmonious, pleasant, and positive a work environment as possible by following established standard for desirable conduct; including but not limited to discrimination, sexual harassment and alcohol/substance abuse,
May perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload, as assigned by the Director of ARC Industries.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- No supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

Skills and education requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or completion of a GED at the time of hiring,
- Current CPR and First Aid certificates,
- Valid California driver’s license,
- Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
- CNA or HHA Certification Preferred
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals. Ability to type routine reports, assessments, and correspondence in a timely fashion. Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not necessary.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply bookkeeping skills, including reconciling numerous accounts.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving multiple tasks and the setting of priorities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must possess a California Drivers License and adequate Automobile Liability Insurance.
