Description
Working as an ASPIRE Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities as they explore their greater community, identify passions, strengths and build long-lasting social networks.
ASPIRE is our community-based Adult Day Service program where we are awakening strengths, promoting inclusion and realizing empowerment.
Shift :
Typically, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
DSP's desire to create lasting positive impacts on people's lives and enjoy coaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to celebrate their achieved outcomes.
As a DSP you will :
- Have fun with participants in the community.
- Discover fun and engaging community events and plans activities.
- Supporting and upholding the rights, dignity and respect of all persons served as well as promote independence and self-advocacy skills.
- Complete required reports and attending required meetings

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk and hear.
