Position: Assistant Director of Behavioral Services
Compensation: Up to $95,000 annually
Status: Full-Time

Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Behavioral Services supports the Director in managing the Behavioral Services Department. This leadership role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring high-quality implementation of Behavior Support Plans (BSPs), maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting professional growth within the team
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties:

Program Oversight:
Provide clinical and operational support across residential, day, and vocational programs.
Supervise Behavioral Managers and guide Behavioral Specialists.
Monitor the quality and consistency of behavioral interventions.
Data Management and Reporting:
Oversee behavioral data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Support data-driven decisions and improvements.
Staff Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training on ABA principles, BSP implementation, and documentation.
Mentor clinical staff and promote continuous professional development.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure adherence to ethical, regulatory, and agency standards.
Review BSPs and documentation for quality and compliance.
Assist in audit preparation and maintenance of records.
Collaboration and Communication:
Serve as a liaison between departments and with families/guardians.
Represent the Behavioral Services Department in cross-functional meetings.
Committee Involvement:
Support the Director in managing the Behavior Support and Human Rights Committees.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to provide clinical input.
Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned to support department goals and operations.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or related field (required).
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential (preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in behavioral services with supervisory experience.
Experience in residential and day/vocational settings (preferred).
Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Expertise in behavior analysis, data interpretation, and BSP development.
Commitment to ethical practices and individual rights.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Therap.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than three suspensions or points in the past three years).
- Physical ability to perform job tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking.
