The Role
ETC is currently seeking a Director, Digital and Data Delivery to join the marketing team. This new role is critical in achieving our US audience and revenue targets by accelerating our digital marketing and data management and insights This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and is responsible for the success of our US digital and data operations.
Work from a home-based office is permitted up to 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
Database Delivery & Management
- Lead the development and maintenance of our database strategy, including consistent data taxonomies, standardization of mapping across platforms, and quality and engagement improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership to shape the long-term data strategy, including recommendations for implementation, data ingestion, and storage solutions.
- Manage relationships with third-party data providers and oversee relevant data system support contracts.
- Work with the Audience Development Manager to optimize platform utilization, ensuring data-driven audience engagement strategies.
- Design and deliver insightful dashboards and reports to inform decision-making across marketing, content, and leadership teams.
Data Compliance
- Ensure adherence to data compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) across all internal and external data collection points.
- Develop and update internal data protection policies, guidelines, and procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Oversee training to staff handling or processing data, building awareness and ensuring compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of all company data processing activities and act as a resource for compliance-related inquiries.
Marketing Technology
- Oversee the marketing technology stack, including content management systems, email platforms, analytics tools, and automation solutions, ensuring integration and optimization for marketing campaigns.
- Manage MarTech vendor relationships, including selection, performance evaluation, and contract negotiation.
- Work with CMO and other Marketing leaders to develop training and support for marketing teams to leverage technology tools effectively and troubleshoot issues.
