We are looking to hire an HR Coordinator to join the Shared Services team. The HR Coordinator will serve as a resource to all US-based employees. This individual will interface with employees on all key HR functions: HR administration, recruiting, employee relations, benefits, payroll, and culture. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving problems and be an effective communicator and multi-tasker.
As a member of a lean, global team, the HR Coordinator should be a conceptual thinker with a broad capacity for empathy and understanding. These skills will be integral for managing employee relationships, building culture, and assisting with policy and procedure development. Additionally, this individual will be organized and comfortable with self-direction to ensure that internal goals are met.
This is a remote position. Work from a home-based location is permitted 5-days per week.
HR Responsibilities include:
Employee Support and Talent Management
- Act as point of contact for general employee questions (i.e., password resets, holiday schedule, PTO policies, navigating UKG)
- Welcome new hires and support onboarding activities
- Complete exit paperwork and support offboarding activities
- Maintain digital and electronic records of employees
- Assist with performance management procedures
- Produce and submit reports on general HR activity
- Prepare people and culture slides for monthly town hall meetings
- Attend culture committee meetings and contribute to employee experience, workplace diversity, awards, and engagement initiatives
Talent Acquisition
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and job requirements
- Post approved requisitions onto applicable HR systems and career sites
- Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks
- Assist in reviewing and screening resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
- Assist in the scheduling and coordination of interviews, both in-person and virtual, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place
- Communicate with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and confirmations
- Manage candidate data and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Assist in drafting and sending offer letters and onboarding paperwork
- Support the onboarding process by ensuring all necessary documents are completed according to business needs and compliance requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and candidate experience
- Liaise with external recruitment and technology vendors
Payroll and Benefits
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Log into insurance carrier sites to retrieve employee or billing information, as needed
- Serve as a backup practitioner for US payroll and benefits administration
- Assist with report preparation for benefits renewal, open enrollment, and 5500s, as needed
- Learn and incorporate the latest regulations and best practices into daily HR operations
