BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Direct Support/Care Professionals will provide direct support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Great job for certified nursing assistants, parents looking for part-time work, and college students- field of study relates to Healthcare Service. Must have experience working in the healthcare services field and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS for Direct Support/Care Professionals: Must have over 5 years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred. Written, communication and computer skills required. Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), Medicaid Waiver, Human Rights, OSHA and Van Training. Criminal and Child Protective Services Background investigations conducted for all employees; must meet state of Virginia employment eligibility requirements. A valid Virginia Driver/s license, a licensed U.S. driver with a minimum if THREEE (3) years driving experience in the United States. Driving record must meet agency’s vehicle insurance carrier requirements, the ability to attend and pass onsite training classes within the first 30 days of hire.

Schedule: Sunday-Thursday 2p-10p. This position will be working at all group homes located throughout Prince William County.
