We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated support care professional to join our team at Arc Of Greater Prince William. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will play a vital role in supporting individuals living with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals.
About the Role
This is a full-time position working weekends, with a 16-hour schedule from 2pm-10pm on Saturdays and Sundays. You will be based at a group home located in Woodbridge, VA, and will work closely with our clients to provide personalized support and care.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and maintain independence
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
- Develop and implement individualized plans to meet client needs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to transport clients using agency-provided vans
