What are the responsibilities and job description for the Steel Shop Helper position at Arc Steel Fabrication, LLC?

Job Description: Steel shop helper/worker for structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication shop (carbon - not stainless). No aluminum or stainless work is done is this shop. Must have previous shop experience and previous erection experience is preferred. This job is NOT similar to pipe fitting/welding.

Requirements are as follows:
*Previous misc steel stair/handrail fabrication experience preferred
*Skilled mig or stick welder required
*Clean driving record required (no DUI or DWI)
*Reliable transportation required
*Must be able to lift 50 lbs
*Must be able to stand for extended periods
*Must be able to work on ladders when required
*Must be able to accurately read tape measures
*Background check required before hire
