Summary
This position is responsible for customer service activities in support of the Vehicle for Charity program. This position is a call center environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle in/outbound calls rom potential donors with questions regarding how to donate a vehicle.
- Set up donations in CARS database by verifying Title information, mailing address, contact number for donor, and charity that the donation will go to.
- Walk do not through the title signing procedure, ensuring the donor fills in the appropriate names for Purchaser/Buyer (Vehicles for Charity) as well as for the Seller (Donor’s Name), and had the ID/Stock Number to place on the title.
- Handle on-line donations by setting up the donation in CARS database and contacting the donor to go over Title Signing procedures.
- Retrieve voice mails left by donors on the system and return their calls.
- Prepare Thank You letters for donations taken and then file the donation jackets in the correct order.
- Obtain any other information that is needed to complete a donation.
- Work with Dispatcher to resolve donor problems related to towing and auction personnel.
- Performs other duties and special assignments as directed, including assignments, which may be outside the primary area of duty.

Education and/or Experience Required
- 1 year of customer service experience.
- Ability to work with individuals possessing developmental disabilities.
- Good analytical skills.
- Ability to use good judgment.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Well-organized and self-directed.
- Proficient in personal computing skills and electronic communications.
