As a Quality Sanitation Specialist, you will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our sanitation programs. What You'll Do:· Assist in developing and implementing sanitation programs in compliance with FDA regulations and other applicable standards.· Conduct regular sanitation inspections, hazard assessments, and risk analyses to identify and address potential issues.· Support the development and maintenance of sanitation policies, procedures, and protocols.· Investigate contamination incidents, contributing to root cause analyses and recommending preventive measures.· Help ensure compliance with food safety regulations related to sanitation, hygiene, and contamination control.· Coordinate and deliver sanitation training programs for employees, promoting a culture of cleanliness and responsibility.· Monitor and stay current on sanitation, hygiene, and food safety regulations, contributing insights to maintain compliance.· Assist in emergency preparedness planning, ensuring response strategies are up-to-date and effective.· Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in sanitation programs, processes, and practices.· Track and analyze sanitation metrics, using data to recommend and implement strategies that enhance cleanliness and food safety outcomes.
What We're Looking For:· Relevant certifications are a plus but not required.· Experience in sanitation practices, especially within the food and beverage sector or a manufacturing environment.· A solid understanding of FDA regulations and food safety laws.· Strong communication and organizational skills.· The ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure cleanliness and compliance objectives are met.· Familiarity with sanitation and hygiene management tools and software.
