- Assist in developing and implementing food safety and quality programs in compliance with SQF standards and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and address potential food safety and quality issues.
- Support the development and maintenance of food safety and quality policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Investigate food safety incidents, contributing to root cause analyses and recommending preventive measures.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations related to HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Coordinate and deliver food safety and quality training programs for employees, promoting a culture of awareness and responsibility.
- Monitor and stay current on food safety regulations, contributing insights to maintain compliance.
- Assist in emergency preparedness planning, ensuring response strategies are up-to-date and effective.
- Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in food safety and quality programs, processes, and practices.
- Track and analyze food safety and quality metrics, using data to recommend and implement strategies that enhance food safety performance and quality outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant certifications such as SQF Practitioner, HACCP, or PCQI are a plus but not required.
- Experience in food safety and quality practices, especially within the food and beverage sector or a manufacturing environment.
- A solid understanding of SQF standards and food safety regulations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- The ability to collaborate with various departments to ensure food safety and quality objectives are met.
- Familiarity with food safety and quality management tools and software.
