Arcadia Care Center is a custom-built skilled nursing facility, located in Arcadia, California. Our value-alignment begins with the practice of savant leadership, which is reflected in all programs and services provided across our continuum of care. With 164 beds and three beautiful indoor courtyards, we provide personalized and compassionate care to ensure a sense of stability, fulfillment, and well-being for our community members. Our innovative rehab center features the latest equipment, and we offer private rooms for short-term residents seeking recovery in a comfortable homelike setting. We also provide private transportation and employ multilingual nurses and rehab therapists to eliminate language barriers.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), and ensuring that the facility meets all applicable regulations and standards.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition

Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals

Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals

Ensure that all documentation and charting is accurate, complete, and up-to-date

Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

Educate residents and families about their healthcare needs and treatments

Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed

Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility

Qualifications :

Valid and current LVN license in the state of California

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting

Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
