Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Assisted Living (AL) Resident/Tenant Assistant is to provide residents/tenants in the facility with nursing and personal care under the supervision of the Wellness Director, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents/tenants of the facility, in accordance with the facility’s established policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, and the directions your supervisors, in order to assure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As a Resident/Tenant Assistant, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for performing your assigned duties.
Essential Duties:
The primary purpose of the Assisted Living (AL) Resident/Tenant Assistant is to provide residents/tenants in the facility with nursing and personal care under the supervision of the Wellness Director, to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of all residents/tenants of the facility, in accordance with the facility’s established policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations, and the directions your supervisors, in order to assure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As a Resident/Tenant Assistant, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for performing your assigned duties.
Essential Duties:
- Maintain the confidentiality of resident/tenant information and honor his/her personal and property rights.
- Carry out assignments for resident/tenant care including (but not limited to): bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, restorative nursing procedures, and retraining.
- Report and record any changes in resident/tenant conditions and needs, i.e., eating habits, behavior, temperature, etc.
- Be responsible for the well-being and nursing care of all residents/tenants assigned while on duty.
- Take vital signs and monthly weights and record results in the residents’/tenants’ chart as directed by physician.
- Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and free of hazardous conditions, i.e. spills, excess laundry carts, baskets, supplies, etc. and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored while working, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, mealtimes, and end of the workday.

Salary : $16 - $18
