POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
The purpose of the Inventory Control Supervisor is to oversee the Inventory Control Coordinator and Inventory Control Lead performances as they maintain an accurate perpetual inventory. This includes assisting in conducting cycle counts; and identifying, researching, and solving product count inaccuracies to preserve data integrity. The employee must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and maintain the expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines set by Arcadia.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Supervise the process associated with maintaining an accurate perpetual inventory, accuracy of product line information, and identification of inaccurate remedies.

Schedule and supervise the workforce to meet daily operational demands including training, verifying certifications and qualifications, and monitoring individual employee productivity levels.
- Apply interpersonal and communication skills to motivate the workforce, relay growth opportunities and implement corrective measures if necessary to ensure productivity levels are met; provide performance reviews.

Apply high level conflict resolution skills and negotiation skills to interactions with multi levels of Arcadia personnel and customers; apply communication skills to interactions with employees; resolve inventory discrepancies and communicate with multi-levels of Arcadias operation.

Generate, use and document standard or ad hoc reports to monitor operations, research failure activity, report on objectives, through puts and KPIs.
- Analyze inventory imbalances that could not be resolved by Inventory Control Coordinators or Inventory Control Leads.

Monitor product integrity by verifying product temperature, refrigeration operation and ensuring continuity of cold chain.

Evaluate slotting to best assist all areas of Arcadias operation to include but not limited to Receiving, Warehousing and Shipping.

Perform cycle counts by reviewing documentation and verifying against perpetual stock in inventory.

Perform root cause analysis to determine inventory discrepancy issues, research alternative procedures and policies and present to your Manager.

Protect Arcadia Inventory Control staff and employees by enforcing proper Personal Protective Equipment use, updating training and certifications, monitoring wage/hour law compliance, assuring compliance with OSHA regulations, and monitoring compliance with, local state and federal food handling regulations. ·
- Communicate and address concerns and issues from other departments, Inventory Control Coordinators, Inventory Control Leads, and Customers (internal and external).
QUALIFICATIONS

An associate degree and 2-4 years experience in a related field or a high school diploma and a combination of 4-5 years of college and experience is required.

Accounting experience is preferred. The employee must be proficient in English and possess math skills proficient to calculate pallet quantities and run data analysis.

Advanced Microsoft Office programs experience (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. · Previous experience with a slot picking program is preferred.

Previous experience with a computer-based timekeeping system is preferred.

Experience as a certified powered industrial truck (PIT) operator is preferred; if none, must be able to pass certification within 90 days on the job.

Employees must be able to be certified for PIT operation by Arcadia.

Solid communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals.

Comfortable working independently or as a team.

Knowledge of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System preferred. If none must become proficient within 90 days of hire.
