POSITION OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
This role verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Check bills of lading for accuracy.
- Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
- Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
- Organize mail slots with proper paperwork.
- Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments.
- Fold lot stickers as they print for receiving as necessary.
- Apply lot stickers to both front and back of received pallet as necessary.
- Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
- Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently or as a team
