What You’ll Do
You'll play a vital role in ensuring our Health Care Center residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals tailored to their needs. You'll assist in coordinating and facilitating dietary services for our HCC residents including residents in boarder rooms.
Arcadia Retirement Residence Location (Health Care Center)
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Range
- $17.00 to $18.00 Hourly
Responsibilities
- Assists in coordinating the dietary needs of HCC residents. This includes distributing menus to the residents, meeting with residents to determine meal selections, and assisting the Registered Dietitian in addressing concerns, complaints and/or questions from residents.
- Manages the production, printing and coordination of the resident’s meal tickets, preparing them in a timely fashion in coordination with the Dining Services department.
- Inputs resident menu orders into the MealSuite system in a timely, accurate manner.
- Works with the residents to select menus and meal choices on an on-going basis.
- Assists with Dietary Department audits.
- Assists the Registered Dietitian with meal observations.
- Assists Registered Dietitian with updating resident meal tickets and on-going meal changes for timely implementation.
- Confers with Registered Dietitian to ensure meals are nutritionally fit for residents.
- Works in collaboration with the Dietitian and inter-disciplinary team in preparing meal tickets for residents on a Boarder Stay in the Health Care Center.
- Assists with inputting resident charges into MealSuite.
Qualifications

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Strong working knowledge of software applications, such as MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Ability to learn and obtain strong working knowledge and application of the SureQuest system.
