Role Description
This is a per-diem remote role for a Private Duty Nurse. The Private Duty Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive in-home nursing care. The daily tasks include health assessment, taking vital signs, prefill medication box, monitoring patient health, and communicating with physicians for continued care. The nurse will also offer emotional support and companionship to patients, maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure
- Computer literacy with an electronic healthcare record
- Experience in providing in-home care or private duty nursing
- Ability to manage medications and patient health effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interactions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations
- Compassionate, nurse-patient relationship with strong attention to detail
- CPR certification - for the healthcare provider.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
