Job Summary
Arcadia Paper Mills is seeking a skilled Electrical Instrumentation Technician to join our team in St. Helens Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial automation, PLCs, drives, sensors, flow meters, etc.
Duties
- Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, PLC input / output modules and all associated control wiring.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and repair motors, motor control centers, variable frequency drives and soft-starts
- Maintain and troubleshoot position feedback devices, encoders, load cells, hydraulic systems, natural gas burners and boiler control systems.
- Installation, calibration and troubleshooting of pressure, level, flow, temperature, consistency, conductivity, turbidity, and pH transmitters.
- Troubleshoot and maintain mechanical, electrical and software systems.
- Calibrate, maintain, and rebuild process valves, actuators, and positioners.
- Proper use of test equipment, including meggers, oscilloscopes, motor analyzers, manometers, signal generators, computers, and specialized software.
