Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Resident Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Adult Foster Home and provide direct care to residents. This is a live-in position, requiring a minimum of four 24-hour shifts per week. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, mobility, and meals
- Administer medications and monitor residents’ health and well-being
- Supervise and support caregiving staff to maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
- Coordinate care plans, activities, and community outings
- Communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and licensing agencies
- Must reside in Oregon (preferably in Lane County) due to state regulations
- Previous experience as an Adult Foster Home Manager or Shift Caregiver in an Adult Foster Home strongly preferred
- Completion of Ensuring Quality Care (EQC) training and Adult Foster Home Orientation (or willingness to obtain)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and dedicated to providing excellent care
