Role description:
Arcadis is looking for a construction scheduler with experience in hydromechanical construction projects related to hydropower dams to support our client on-site at a Power Generation Plant facility near Buffalo, NY.
The extreme complexity of coordinating construction and maintenance activities between the various maintenance groups, multiple contractors, project managers, construction engineers, and the teams associated with other projects that will be occurring during programs outages demands a highly experienced construction scheduler. The scheduler will coordinate with all the identified team members and stakeholders to integrate their updates into an
integrated master schedule which will be used to report overall progress to leadership and Project Teams. The integrated schedule will be used to identify the critical path, high risk sequences, and opportunities for improvement. The integrated schedule is an already-existing record, so this engagement will not need to build the schedule from scratch, but the consultant engaged as part of this scope must verify and baseline the schedule for the remainder of the outage so as to be able to track variances appropriately.
Role accountabilities:
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure the integrated construction schedule (P6) is updated and accurately depicts the work to be performed
- Perform technical analysis of the schedule to ensure to ensure accurate predictive date
- Incorporate into the schedule any other site works impacting the physical or labor resources required for the outage
- Ensure Project Schedule identifies main discipline, contractor, or craft responsible for the completion of that each activity
- Incorporate Project Schedule into Procore environment and ensure utilization of critical role-based reporting functionality
- Identify the schedule critical path and monitor all float paths to identify risks and opportunities within the schedule sequencing Conduct all work on-site at the project plant

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other closely related field
- 5 years of Scheduling or Project Controls Engineering experience
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Outlook, is required
- AACE Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) Good prior experience with large-scale utility projects, especially Hydropower generation, Transmission Line, and Electrical Substation related projects

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $145,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
