The Program Management Office (PMO) Director will be responsible for leading a Corporate Real Estate Programme Management Office for a global Financial Institutions client based in New York City. The candidate will be expected to provide expert guidance to the client, advising on team structure, systems, procedures, and approaches for managing a large corporate real estate program. Preference will be given to candidates with CRE experience with Financial Institutions. This role is a hybrid role, reporting into the Arcadis office in New York City.Role description : The successful candidate will be responsible for service delivery of the Arcadis team as well as business development. The candidate will advise clients on the setup and operations of the Program Management Office, focusing on team structure, systems, procedures, and effective approaches for managing a large corporate real estate program.Role accountabilities : The position includes a high level of responsibility and accountability for the execution and delivery of management consulting activities within a developing specialist team.Lead a team of Arcadians in delivering multi-workstreams within a PMO.Provide strategic guidance and thought leadership to clients regarding team structure, systems, procedures, and approaches for effectively managing large corporate real estate programs.Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives and provide tailored recommendations and solutions to enhance their PMO capabilities.Conduct assessments and evaluations of existing PMOs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize performance.Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to program management, and integrate this knowledge into the advisory practice's offerings.Foster strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and maintaining effective communication to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.Qualifications & experience : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Experience delivering programs or complex projects in Corporate Real Estate for Financial InstitutionsWorking knowledge in focus areas such as Sustainability, Corporate Real Estate, Asset Management or Construction.Experience of global Program delivery.Extensive experience (minimum of 5 years) in program management, PMO setup, and large capital programs.Demonstrated success in managing / leading and developing teams, preferably in a consulting or professional services environment.Expert knowledge of PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members effectively.Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.Why Arcadis ?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
