About This Role: As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading projects and clients in the planning, design, and construction of water/wastewater facilities and other industrial facilities. You will oversee project proposals, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients, ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams in the development of project proposals, project management, and electrical design.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan and design electrical systems.
- Establish design criteria, perform calculations, develop one-line diagrams, control schematics, plans, and specifications using CAD programs (Revit, Navisworks, etc.).
- Perform engineering services during construction, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFI's (requests for information).
Qualifications & Experience: We are seeking a registered professional engineer (PE) with 10 years of experience in consulting and water/wastewater facility electrical design. Key skills include knowledge of SKM Power Tools, short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, arc flash analysis, and photometric study (Visual 3D or Dialux). Experience with medium voltage design is preferred.
