Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Process Engineer focusing on single-use equipment in Framingham, MA.
Role accountabilities:
- Vendor resource responsible for drafting, facilitating SME review and approval of Engineering Lifecycle Documentation (ELDs) using the Kneat system under the clients Engineering oversight. These are User Requirement Specifications (UR), System Impact Assessments (SIA) and Component Impact Assessments (CIA).
- Vendor resource responsible for drafting, facilitating SME review, approval and execution of Engineering Test Plans (ETPs) to test changes to equipment functionality, equipment modifications, and equipment communication with our Distributed Controls System (DCS).
- Vendor responsible for execution, discrepancy resolution, and closeout of the protocols. Protocols will either be generated in Kneat or on paper.
- Vendor responsible for organizing and facilitating meetings to support task objectives and drive protocols to closure.
- Vendor must be able to work cross-functionally with different departments for completing tasks.
- Vendor resource responsible for drafting, facilitating SME review, approval and implementation of Engineering Change Management (ECMs) to document and execute any required changes to equipment in Kneat.
- Vendor responsible for generation, execution, comment resolution, and closeout of the change management forms.
- Vendor resource responsible for review, approval and execution assistance of Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) protocols in Kneat.
- Vendor proposal shall include a minimum of two intermediate engineering resources responsible for field-based execution of engineering tasks which includes engineering testing, SME review of Engineering lifecycle documents, C&Q protocols, and Engineering Change Management.
- Other duties as assigned
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry with Single Use Technology (preferable).
- Prior experience working with chromatography systems, bioreactors, and single-use mixers.
- Ability to organize and prioritize, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Works proficiently with Excel and Word.
- Prior Kneat system experience.
- Ability to meet requirements in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
- Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required. Will consider US domestic travelers and relocation.
