Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Screen Printer with at least 2 years of hands-on experience operating automatic (M&R) and manual presses in a garment decoration environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to producing high-quality prints.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, register, and print high-quality custom screen print orders.
- Operate a 14-color M&R Automatic Screen Printing Press with precision.
- Ensure prints meet quality standards and deadlines.
- Perform screen prep, burning screens, ink mixing, setup, and reclaiming.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot printing issues and maintain press efficiency.
- Understand and properly use chemicals, inks, and various printing techniques.
Skills & Qualifications:
✅ Minimum of 2 years experience operating automatic and manual screen print presses in a garment decoration environment.
✅ Strong attention to detail and quality control.
✅ Ability to see fine details, check for color accuracy, and ensure high-quality output.
✅ Heat press experience is a plus.
✅ Self-motivated, hard-working, and reliable with strong teamwork skills.
✅ Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
✅ Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
✅ High school diploma or GED required.
✅ Reliable transportation is a must.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Work in and around industrial machinery and presses.
- Occasionally climb or move around workspaces.
- Use hands to grasp, handle, and manipulate tools, screens, and materials.
- Good vision and color perception to ensure print accuracy.
