What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison position at ARCARE?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Liaison will attend functions that will connect ARcare with other agencies in order to serve the needs of the communities. The Liaison will develop a list of agencies that will partner with ARcare to provide patient services. The liaison will refer patients to ARcare programs. The liaison will also look for ways to fundraise for ARcare.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Design, implement, and maintain an annual list of agencies that ARcare can/does partner with to provide services to patients.
- Work with the Marketing department to communicate development needs and areas of focus to improve brand and service awareness.
- Coordinate business development activities in White County and surrounding areas to increase awareness and opportunities within each community.
- Serve as a visible spokesperson and advocate for ARcare’s mission and services.
- Identify additional partnerships and referral opportunities

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: At least three years in community involved activities. History of community involvement with organizations such as Chamber, Rotary, etc.
Computer Skills: Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer
Other Requirements
Must be a self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with customers and staff at all levels in the organization. Must have polished presentation and interpersonal skills. Must possess top level business management, interpersonal and facilitation skills. Must possess excellent communication skills. Background in health care marketing is a plus.
