Job Title: Group Health Sales Producer
Job Type: Full-time (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, specifically in group and individual benefit sales.
- Strong knowledge of benefit program design and administration.
- Current Life/Health insurance license in the state of Arkansas; ability to obtain and maintain Self-Funded certification within 12 months of employment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and adaptable to customized software and evolving technologies.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
Job Summary:
Join the Pruitt Agency team, a part of the ARcare family, as a Group Health Sales Producer. This dynamic role focuses on selling and servicing group and individual benefit programs for retail clients while supporting ARcare’s internal supplemental benefit offerings. The position includes a balance of external sales responsibilities and internal support to enhance employee benefit programs.
As a key contributor, you will identify new opportunities, nurture client relationships, and drive growth through innovative benefit solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure new group and individual benefit accounts for retail clients while managing and servicing existing accounts.
- Collaborate with sales staff to onboard group accounts, including financial products such as 401(k) plans.
- Provide enrollment assistance, education, and technical support to group accounts.
- Develop and manage ARcare’s supplemental insurance program to maximize employee benefits and manage costs effectively.
- Analyze benefit usage and effectiveness to recommend improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Maintain relationships with brokers, carriers, and other external partners to support growth and benefit administration.
- Lead annual open enrollment efforts, including planning, coordination, and employee education.
- Present supplemental benefits during ARcare new hire orientations and provide one-on-one consultations.
- Create educational materials and workshops to enhance employee understanding of available benefits.
- Support senior management with strategic recommendations and plan improvements.
- Assist ARcare employees with insurance-related inquiries and concerns.
