Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in IT or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in a lead network engineer role managing a multi-site, enterprise network
- Experience in virtual server environments (VMware, VDI, Citrix, RDP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD
- Expertise in mobile device management and enterprise firewall management, including IDS/IPS
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Job Summary:

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain secure and high-performance network solutions. You will collaborate closely with IT leadership, systems administrators, and support technicians to ensure smooth network operations across the organization.
Responsibilities include managing network infrastructure, configuring firewalls and security systems, monitoring network performance, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of enterprise networks, and the ability to develop strategies that improve overall efficiency and security. This role requires a proactive mindset and the ability to juggle multiple projects while maintaining high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network solutions that align with business goals
- Configure, install, and support network equipment, including routers, servers, switches, firewalls, and access points
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to ensure optimal operation
- Collaborate with IT leadership to manage vendor relationships and oversee equipment upgrades
- Provide remote and on-site support to technicians and end users during installation and troubleshooting
- Investigate and resolve network faults and security vulnerabilities
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and processes
- Report network status updates and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Participate in network planning, strategy development, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and security standards
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing system performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
