What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer position at ARCARE?
This is not a remote position; you must live and work on-site in the state of Arkansas.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a software engineer with the ARcare IT group, you will be part of an agile team operating under true DevOps principle with end-to-end project ownership and autonomy for solving problems with the right tool for the right jobs.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Regular attendance at work is required.
- Maintain and continue to develop knowledge of all stages of software development across various layers of platforms and applications.
- Contribute to growth of the entire team by consistently sharing knowledge through paired programming, demos, and whiteboarding discussions.
- Collaborate with the entire team to incorporate various sources of feedback and evolve software solutions over time to be stable, scalable, and deliver excellent user experiences.
- Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
- Collaborate with the rest of the engineering ream to design and launch new features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Education: College degree (or equivalent experience) preferable in technical area
Experience: One year of progressive experience in an IT environment preferred
