POSITION SUMMARY
The Vice President of Patient Experience is responsible for executing directives from the Chief
Experience Office (CXO) to enhance patient and employee experiences. This role involves overseeing
communications as well as ensuring consistent and exceptional interactions across the organization.
Additionally, this position will oversee the Director of Training and Development and the training
department to ensure effective training programs and career development for employees.
- Essential Functions Statement(s)
Under the direction of the CXO, develop and implement strategic communication plans to
support organizational goals. - Provide assistance to CXO on the creation and distribution of internal communications.
- Provide guidance and assist in the development and execution of goals and initiatives.
- Develop and oversee the organization’s patient experience strategy to ensure consistent and
exceptional patient interactions. - Instill a culture of service excellence, hospitality, and ownership.
- Work closely with various departments to align efforts and deliver a seamless experience for
patients and employees. - Utilize patient and employee feedback, market research, and data analytics to gain insights
into preference and behaviors. - Foster collaboration and communication across departments to improve overall experience
delivery. - Oversee patient and employee surveys, analyze data, and share data with leadership team.
- Provide input for recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top
talent. - Advise and assist the network of companies with customer experience projects and
implementations. - Provide input as requested into employee grievances and disciplinary issues, promoting a
positive workplace culture. - Ability to advise family of companies in customer service incentives efforts.
1/8/2025 - Oversee the Director of Training and Development and the training department, supporting
career development for employees, reviewing training plans, and providing overall input into
the training curriculum. - Present to employees, supervisors, etc. on patient experience and other related topics.
- Ensure all communications align with the organization’s mission and values.
- Other Duties as assigned by leadership.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing or related field
required; Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in a leadership role within patient experience,
human resources, or strategic communications.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel; and customized software
Other Requirements
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in
a fast-paced environment. - Passion for employee development, patient-centered care, and continuous improvement.
- Experience in developing and implementing training programs is preferred.
