The Benefits Services Coordinator handles various administrative tasks to ensure efficient department operations. This position is responsible for managing mail, scanning and indexing documents, processing claims, and assisting with member support and wellness communications. The Benefits Services Coordinator also supports the customer service team, plans department events, and provides general assistance across all areas of the Benefits department. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

This position is responsible for managing mail, scanning and indexing documents, processing claims, and assisting with member support and wellness communications. The Benefits Services Coordinator also supports the customer service team, plans department events, and provides general assistance across all areas of the Benefits department. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Responsibilities
- Prelog member self-pay claims.
- Scan incoming medical and dental claims, invoices, refund checks, and retirement and cobra checks.
- Assist in ID card mailouts and requests from Choice Benefits members.
- Identify and resolve return mail for Choice Benefits checks and Explanation of Benefits.
- Scan and index benefits checks.
- Open and distribute Benefits department mail.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Assist in planning and executing benefit department events.
- Provide support as needed for all areas of Benefits.
- Support Client Care team with phone calls and emails, as needed.
- Support Wellness team in communication promotions.
- Prelog paper claims.
Education:
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- 1 year of experience with employee benefits administration, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
Work Hours
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
