This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios.

Responsibilities
- Engage customer, carrier, and internal ArcBest contacts through phone and multiple inboxes.
- Identify and initiate recovery for at-risk freight.
- Communicate shipment requirements to the local service center.
- Create BOL's and provide shipment-specific documentation.
- Identify delivery delays and communicate delivery changes as necessary.
- Provide quotes, pickup requests and review billing disputes.
- Communicate shipment statuses to both internal and external customers.
- Provide accurate information on the entire suite of logistics solutions offered by ArcBest.
- Communicate additional charges to customers.
- Resolve complex in-transit problems.
- Maintain communication to ensure freight is delivered within the customer's expectations.
- Learn and adhere to internal work processes and standard operating procedures.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Manage multiple tracking systems to provide seamless coverage.
- Demonstrate mastery of multiple complex computer programs.
- Schedule shipments.
Education:
- Currently pursuing high school diploma as an upcoming 2025 - 2026 Junior or Senior with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Must be at least 16 years of age.

Work Hours
- This is a part time position that will work fewer than 30 hours per week. Typical hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on school schedule and workload.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
